Our History

Consult YHN was founded in 1994 as American Hearing Aid Associates (AHAA) to provide support and practice management services to hearing professionals at audiology clinics, hospitals, and universities across the country.

We started out by providing the essentials: hearing aids. Audiologists, ENTs, and hearing aid dispensers require highly specialized products to help their patients, and we offered that technology at competitive prices. Eventually, we realized that we could be providing our Associates so much more—we could help them take their practices to the next level.

In October 2018, we partnered with Your Hearing Network and changed our name from AHAA to Consult YHN. This evolution was designed to deliver practices the best of both worlds: Your Hearing Network’s national support system and AHAA’s industry-leading local business support.

Our commitment and promise to our Associates have remained the same since day one: do everything we can to support their practice better than we ever have before and ultimately, help them help more people hear well again.
